Summary

    Overview:

We live and work in unusual times. On one hand, many of us have adapted to working from home so well that we find it unfamiliar and even uncomfortable when we are back in the office. Office dress, commuting, and parking can add stress and cost, and our office days can affect our work-life balance in ways the home office doesn’t.

And yet the home office isn’t perfect either. Many of us can feel exhausted after a day of online meetings and calls at home. And we miss the sense of deeper connection, and the ease of collaboration and creativity that online meetings struggle to foster. And then there is our productivity; are we genuinely more productive or less productive in the home environment? You can quickly see the many conflicting challenges and benefits we are navigating.

Given that many organizations have moved to some form of a hybrid work model, there is a need to be intentional about how we move between the office and the home office. This course will highlight why connection and collaboration are so important for us as individuals and organizations, and give you practical tools to balance staying connected and collaborative, while also staying focused and productive, in whichever work environment you are in.
