Inclusion at Work is designed for a busy workplace, where face-to-face training may not be feasible. This 5-module course provides learners with perspectives that are foundational to an inclusive mindset, and the tools to immediately impact their workplace culture in a positive way.

Course Content:

·         Definitions of diversity & inclusion as they relate to the workplace context

·         The inclusion mindset - explore the mindset that is most impactful for individual and organizational learning for a more inclusive workplace

·         Seeking to understand - look at the skills of empathy and how they work when people have a history of being marginalized or excluded

·         Understanding bias – explain key biases as they relate to building inclusion skills

·         Explore your preference for ease, comfort, and safety and how learning and developing inclusion skills occurs most efficiently outside of that safety

·         Understand an open mindset for inclusion

·         Learn the importance of empathy and seek to understand

·         Understand what and how the unconscious bias influence individuals and their actions
