Artificial intelligence is reshaping business processes, organizational structures, and professional relationships. In this period of rapid transformation, it’s essential for professional accountants to understand how AI impacts their work and their ethical responsibilities, especially as ethics remains central to the profession’s purpose.
This course explores the implications of AI for the accounting profession, highlighting the risks, challenges, and opportunities through an ethical lens. It addresses three key questions:
- Why do we exist as a profession and what are our ethical responsibilities?
- How are we still relevant in the age of AI?
- What can we do to remain relevant?
